Write Brain Works

The guy behind Write Brain Works is me, David Von Hatten.

I’m a freelance writer with more than 19 years of advertising, marketing, and branding experience. In that time, I’ve learned a thing or two about creating solid concepts and delivering effective communication pieces for ad agencies, design shops, and other companies in Austin, Texas and beyond.

Soon after earning my Advertising Degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1984, I landed at GSD&M Advertising. The agency gave me the opportunity to work on a variety of product and service categories across all media. I had an eight-year stint there creating communication pieces that helped build each client's brand.
